School Administrator (Reception)

As the School Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our school. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and creating a positive atmosphere for students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist pupils, parents, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries to appropriate personnel.
  • Manage and maintain the school’s front office operations, including handling mail, reprographics, and recording pupil data.
  • Oversee visitor check-in and ensure compliance with school safeguarding protocols.
  • Support school events and activities by providing administrative assistance as needed.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the school’s operations.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
