Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children/young people to join the team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College as a Teaching Assistant, who will play a vital role in supporting and assisting the teaching and care of children within the school.

The working hours are from 08:30AM AND 3:30PM Monday to Friday during the school term.  You will also be paid for an extra 5 days per year per year, which enables you to attend team meetings, training and development that sits outside your normal working hours.  Your actual salary is £17,050.02 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.  If you are interested in working on a part time basis, please get in touch and we are happy to explore this further with you.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for an individual who is committed to ensuring every individual child receives the care, support and guidance they need to thrive and be the best they can be. The successful applicant will have good literacy and numeracy skills, a level 2 TA qualification (or willingness to work towards) and the ability to work collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.
