The team at The Snaith School are looking to appoint a teacher of History to cover Maternity leave from February half term to October half term, who will play a pivotal role in providing a high standard of teaching and learning to support students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Starting in February 2025, The role is up to 0.8 FTE and will be paid on TEAL’s qualified teachers pay scale (points 1 to 9). This is a Maternity Cover appointment, so the contract end date depends on the return of the post holder, which is anticipated to be the end of October 2025. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Teaching and Learning and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. You must hold Qualified Teacher Status and have knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of effective teaching and learning, monitoring/ assessment and evaluation.
