This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sports Centre team as a Fitness Instructor. Each day you will provide customer support and guidance on the safe and effective use of the fitness facilities.
The hourly rate is £12.85. The hours for this position are detailed below.
Monday to Friday 06:45am - 08:30am
Monday 16:00pm - 22:15pm
Fridays 16:00pm - 22:15pm
Saturday: 06:45am - 17:15pm
Sunday: 07:45am - 17:15pm

You will work as part of our Sports Centre Team, supporting the Sports Centre Manager, to observe, monitor, and give direction to the general public and students on their general behaviour and conduct in order to ensure that they safely enjoy the activities. In addition, you will coach groups and individuals of all ages and ability in line with the level of qualification. Our moto is ‘work hard and be nice to people’. We are looking for an individual who possess a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate or equivalent recognised Register of Exercise Professionals L2 Gym qualification, along with the willingness to work on rotation shift patterns to meet the needs of the business.
We are also looking for the following:
Ability to deliver a high standard of skill based teaching.
