HLTA / Teaching Assistant Level 2

This is an opportunity to join North Cave Church of England Primary School’s friendly and vibrant community as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistant Level 2. You will be a key member of our team, working flexibly as part of the teaching support staff to make learning inclusive, effective and exciting to ensure children reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to plan, teach and assess an innovative curriculum so all pupils, including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, may achieve success in line with the school vision, ethos and aims. 

The role is permanent and part-time, working 26 hours and 40 minutes as a Higher - Level Teaching Assistant and 6 hours 15 minutes as Teaching Assistant. This role is during term-time, but you will be required to work an additional 5 days per year to enable you to attend team meetings and training which sit outside of your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be £22,116.02 and this will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You will be paid at Scp 17 on TEAL's associate staff pay scale for your HLTA hours and Scp5 for your TA L2 hours.
