Assistant Head of Year

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Pastoral Team as an Assistant Head of Year.  Each day you will work with the Head of Year, and under the direction of the Assistant Head Teacher, provide support and intervention strategies in order to meet the pastoral needs of students at South Hunsley School.

The working hours are from 8:20AM AND 4:20PM Monday to Friday during the school term, with a 3:50PM finish on Fridays.  You will also be paid for 44.5 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings, training and development that sits outside your normal working hours.  Your actual salary is £23,545.04 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.  If you are interested in working on a part time basis, please get in touch and we are happy to explore this further with you.
