We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Pastoral Team as Head of Student Support at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form. The working hours are up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 6 days per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be £31,817.63 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
Each day you will work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, supporting the strategic leadership and management of the school in the key areas of student achievement and pastoral support. You will support the Heads of Year and wider pastoral team to manage all aspects of student support and achievement.
Pastoral support is at the centre of everything we do at South Hunsley School. It could also be an incredible opportunity for those who have previously coached, mentored, supported, guided, or advised students in another school, college or educational institution or within youth services.
