Science Technician

The team at The Snaith School are looking for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people to join our Science Department to provide efficient technical support. 

The working hours are from 08:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday with a 3.30pm finish on Fridays during the school term.  You will also be paid for an additional 20.5 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development outside of your normal working hours.  Your actual salary will be £22096 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.  If you are interested in working on a part time basis, please get in touch and we are happy to explore this further with you.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has experience of organising, cleaning and maintaining equipment and stock levels.

The successful applicant will have good literacy and numeracy skills, a relevant level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and the ability to work collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.
