Fitness Instructor

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sports Centre team as a Fitness Instructor.  Each day you will provide customer support and guidance on the safe and effective use of the fitness facilities.

The hourly rate is £13.26. Evening shifts are available from 16:00pm to 22:15pm, with the occasional weekend cover which can be contracted or casual.

You will work as part of our Sports Centre Team, supporting the Sports Centre Manager, to observe, monitor, and give direction to the general public and students on their general behaviour and conduct in order to ensure that they safely enjoy the activities. What we are looking for?

We are looking for an individual who possess a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate or equivalent recognised Register of Exercise Professionals L2 Gym qualification, along with the willingness to work on rotation shift patterns to meet the needs of the business. 

We are also looking for the following:

• Ability to work independently and within a team in a managed fitness environment.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Ability to deliver a high standard of skill based teaching.
