Lunchtime Supervisor - two positions

We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join the team at The Snaith School as Lunchtime Supervisors who will provide a crucial role in supporting and supervising pupils during the lunch periods, clearing, tidying and restocking afterwards.

These are permanent positions, working 12.5 hours per week term time only and you will be required to work an additional 2.5 hours during the September training day. The normal working hours will be between 11:00am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your actual salary will be £7048 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year, so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.

Why choose us?

The Snaith School has 840 pupils rooted in the local community of Snaith and the surrounding villages.  We are small enough to feel like a family and we pride ourselves on knowing and appreciating pupils as individuals.  Our aim is for our pupils to enjoy school, be happy, confident and successful so that they are able to fulfil their dreams and aspirations.  We are ambitious for every child and extremely passionate about maximising life chances.  We want all of our pupils to leave us with the best possible outcomes, a wide range of memorable experiences, an abundance of positive memories and lifelong friendships.

We offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Access to our staff benefit platform which includes big brand discounts and other financial incentives including a cycle to work scheme offering discounted bike purchase.
  • Free, Onsite Parking and tea and coffee in all of our staff rooms.
  • Family friendly policies, including sector leading Maternity, Adoption and Neonatal care pay offers.
  • Membership of the East Riding Pension Scheme with benefits including secure earnings linked pension and a lump sum death grant of three times your salary.
  • Well-being support including discounted East Riding gym membership; free annual flu vaccinations; refund of the cost of the annual NHS prescription prepayment certificate; access to a free employee assistance scheme 24/7 with advice on a wide range of practical issues ranging from legal information and consumer issues to specialist counselling.
