Howden Junior School are looking for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children to join our friendly and dedicated team of Teaching Assistants who play a vital role in supporting and assisting the teaching, learning and care of children within our school.
The working hours are 31 hours 15 minutes per week during the school term, working from 8.50am to 3.35pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. You will also be paid for an additional 31 hours 15 minutes per year, which enables you to attend training days, team meetings and training and development outside of your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be £18561 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, engaging, versatile and committed to ensuring every individual child receives the care, support and guidance they need to thrive and be the best they can be.
The successful applicant will have good literacy and numeracy skills, a level 2, TA qualification (or willingness to work towards) and the ability to work collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.
