In preparation for September 2026, The Snaith School are looking for an Emotional Wellbeing and Pastoral Support Officer. The successful candidate will have a warm, calm personality who approaches situations with empathy. They will demonstrate excellent interpersonal qualities and have great communication skills and remain professional and composed under pressure. We want someone who can build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people who can manage restorative practice when things don't go to plan.
The role will deliver targeted interventions, restorative support and relationship-based pastoral care for pupils experiencing emotional, behavioural or wellbeing difficulties. The successful candidate will help pupils feel safe, supported and emotionally equipped to succeed both socially and academically through compassionate pastoral care, targeted interventions and positive relationship-building.
