Finance Assistant (Shared Services)

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our shared services team,  who will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective financial administration support for TEAL schools.

The role will be based at our Teacher Development Centre in Melton, near Brough in the East Riding of Yorkshire, however you may be required to travel to other sites to provide support as required.

This is a permanent position working up to 37 hours per week, year-round, however If you are interested in working on a part time (job share arrangement) or flexible basis (e.g. term-time only), please state this on your application form and we will be happy to consider your request.

The actual annual salary upon appointment with TEAL will be £25,989 (base on a full time equivalent)

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with a high level of attention to detail

You will have:

·       Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders

·       Confidence using IT systems and managing accurate records

·       The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing competing priorities

Experience in a similar role is desirable as is prior experience of the education sector, but these are not essential requirements, as training will be provided.
