Caretaker

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form as a Caretaker who will play a key role in providing a safe and welcoming environment at our school.

This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, on a 3-week cycle rota which includes early and late shifts (5:45am-1:45pm, 10am-6pm and 11:30am- 7:30pm)

Salary: SCP3, £27,275.60 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

What we are looking for?

  •          Good standard of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, enabling the post holder to complete relevant documentation, both manually and electronically.
  •          Previous experience of working in a similar role
  •          Qualifications or evidence of CPD in a relevant field at Level 2 or above (i.e. manual handling, first aid, legionella awareness, asbestos awareness)
  •          Experience of working in a school environment
  •          First Aid qualification (or willingness to work towards)
