HR Administrator

We are looking for an organised and detail orientated individual to join the HR team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form as a HR Administrator. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, effective and efficient administrative support for the HR department.

The working hours are up to 18 hours per week, term time only with the requirement to work 36 additional hours during school closure periods. The working pattern is flexible, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss further.  Your actual salary will be £10,978.74 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.

You will work as a part of our friendly HR team to provide administration support. This will include dealing with safer recruitment checks, updating systems, photocopying, monitoring the return of documents, scanning, and other general admin functions using all aspects of Microsoft office and other software systems. You will also provide support for events and meetings, including assisting with the organisation and setting up of events and meetings, such as recruitment days.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has:

·         Experience in an administrative or customer-focused role, with strong transferable skills welcomed

·         Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • A good standard of education including literacy and numeracy at GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent,
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Experience of working in an administrative role
