This is an exciting opportunity to join our Premises Team as an Assistant Estates Manager. Each day you will manage the day-to-day delivery of caretaking and site maintenance services, ensuring that the school premises and associated facilities are available for both educational and allied usage and kept to a clean, secure safe and well-maintained standard.
The working hours are from 8:00am AND 4:00pm Monday to Friday, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays. Your actual salary is £26,847 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. If you are interested in working on a part time basis, please get in touch and we are happy to explore this further with you.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the caretaking staff, grounds person and chargehand cleaners are provided with clear direction, resulting in a caretaker team that is responsive, professional, highly effective and trained to carry out safe working practices.
